Channel 12: Mitchell Introduces 'Stop the Drop Houses Act' Channel 12 recently did a story on Congressman Mitchell's bi-partisan bill to help fight the current drop house epidemic here in Arizona. Currently, there is a loophole in the federal law that does not allow homes used by for illegal smuggling operations or as drop houses to be seized using civil forfeiture.  Congressman Mitchell's bill closes this loophole and will help local and federal authorities fight the growing threat posed by Mexican drug cartels, helping to keep our communities and state safe.
